The S*T*rategic A*lliance R*eferral Group of select Realtors and Lenders, that now spans virtually all of Southern Ontario, began as a dream in the minds of its three founders in the fall of 1996. It was initially envisioned as a mastermind group, with the purpose of helping its members implement world-class business strategies, such that a constant flow of referrals from more-than-satisfied customers would be the result. It soon developed into much more.

The original members provided real estate and mortgage services primarily in the Mississauga and Oakville markets, so as the group expanded, it seemed natural to select professionals from neighboring communities first. Soon Burlington, Hamilton and the Niagara Peninsula were represented, to be joined quickly by London, Kitchener-Waterloo and six Toronto regions, including Etobicoke, North York, The Beach, Scarborough, Agincourt, Woodbridge and Downtown.
